How To Update/Upgrade Tecno C8 To Android Marshmallow

It was no news that Tecno c8 will receive marshmallow update soon.

Tecno C8 Sets To Receive Marshmallow Update

Finally Marshmallow Update for Tecno C8 has arrived. The Marshmallow Update is rolling out to all Tecno C8 users but If you don't receive the update, don't worry you can flash it using The Recovery Method I will post about.

How To Update Tecno C8 To Android Marshmallow

Requirements

>> Your Tecno C8 device must not be rooted 

>> Download C8 Marshmallow Zip Here(868MB)

Procedures

1. Place the file on the root folder of your SD Card(i.e put it inside a folder on your sd card)

2. .Switch off your Tecno Camon C8 and Hold Power Button + Volume Up until you see the startup logo then release the Power Button Only after which you’ll see the Tecno Android logo. 

3. Hold the Power Button for 2 seconds and then press Volume Up button without releasing the power button until you see as shown in the image below

4. Now, Use Volume Down and Up to navigate to Apply update from sdcard then press the Power Button to select
5. Then, You will enter a new interface as shown below.
Use the Volume Down and Up to navigate to Tcard_update_20160415 then select it with the Power Button
6. The installation would begin shortly and when it is done you will see the interface as seen below. Select Reboot system now

The Tecno C8 will reboot, this might take upt 6 minutes. Once booted, you will notice the new Marshmallow Bootlogo.
You have successfully updated your Tecno C8 to Marshmallow.
