HOW TO Force 3G only On Android Devices
This method works perfectly on MTK(Mediatek) devices. Just dial the following code on your Andriod phone to get to the menu, if one does not work the other will work

Then select phone information
After that scroll down you will see the options to change it to 3G(WCDMA) below
Thats All. You can now Switch on your mobile data and notice the difference in the network speed.
