Change IMEI Of Android Phones With Chamelephon
Chamelephon is one of the easiest apps used for repairing, changing imei on Android phones especially the MTK types without a computer. Others include Mobile Uncle, MTK Engineering etc.

Chamelephon works perfectly in changing the imei of Infinix hot 2, tecno H6, obi, and all other MTK phones.

==>1. First your phone must be properly rooted because chamelephon needs root access to be able to alter your imei.

==>2. Download and install Chamelephon from Play Store or get the apk from Google search.

==>3. If you mean to change your imei instead of repair, dial *#06# to copy out your original imei for safe keeping. 

==>4. Open the installed Chamelephon and an interface like the one above will be shown. Click on Authorize if asked for root access as seen below -

• Note: To alter imei with chamelephon, you must have to provide two valid imei for both spaces provided. Meaning to change imei of sim one, you must change that of sim 2 as well.

==>5. Click on Generate random IMEIs and select Apply New IMEIs. Or if you have your own imei, you can paste them in the spaces provided and hit same Apply button. Then confirm the change.

 ==>6. Finally, reboot your phone as required or simple turn ON and OFF your Airplane/Flight Mode for the imei to take effect.

STEP 1:

How To Change imei of Android Phones Using Mobile Uncle

 Lets see the compatible android devices that mobile uncle tools works on

•  Mtk6589 device
• Mtk6582 device
•  MTK65XX devices
• Quad Core Mediatek phones
• Octa Core Mediatek phones

Now launch mobile uncle tool, open the app, and navigate to Engineer Mode

•  In the next screen, click on Engineer Mode (MTK)
•  slide the window to Connectivity just like we did before and then click on CDS Information
•  After that,Click on Radio Information

 If you are using a dual Sim android phone, Phone 1 represents your Sim 1 and Phone 2 represents your Sim2. So choose the slot you want to swap imei with that of blackberry. Most guys choose sim1 though.

• After choosing the desired slot, click on the (AT+) type in a word and then clear the word you typed.
• After clearing it, a dialogue box will
• Open click on AT+EGMR=1,7,””

• In between (“”) type in the imei which you generated.
• Check if the numbers are same and equal

Then, click on SEND AT COMMAND if you receive a message saying AT command sent and successful,you’re successful!

All you have to do now is to reboot your phone that all now you can rock your new imei and browse with it like a blackberry phone. but make sure you backup your previous Imei, I suggest writing it down on a Piece of Paper incase anything goes wrong so that you can quickly change it back.

Requirement For Changing your Android Imei

• Your Android device must be rooted.

 You can root your android device with kingroot.

• After successful downloading mobile uncle tools.
• Install and launch mobile uncle.

If you get pop-up requesting root permissions then,just grant the request and continue below

 First create backup of current IMEI by choosing IMEI Backup Restore (MTK) and then select Backup IMEI to desired path.

• Tap on Engineer Mode>>Engineer Mode (MTK) and then swipe your fingers to the left to scroll to right and going to Connectivity Tab.

• Tap on CDS Information and open Radio Information >> Phone 1 or Phone 2  (This simply means Sim 1 or Sim 2, whichever you want to change IMEI)

•  Now you can see a AT+ written at the top, tap the end and depending on your sim,
• add the line: EGMR=1,7,”NEW SIM 1 IMEI” or EGMR=1,10,”NEW SIM 2 IMEI” and tap on send Command.

NOTE: While changing your imei, should you get any response like; "command is not allowed in user build". After clicking on COMMAND, instead of the normal "Command is smart!" Don't panic. Just add one space between the AT+ and EGMR... That is AT+ space EGMR... Or just copy and paste this: AT+ EGMR=1,7,"IMEI Num"  Then replace IMEI Num with the imei you generated. 

 Now you’re done. You just have to restart the phone and then to check your android phone’s new

• IMEI,dial *#06#.

This steps involves another way to change your Android device Imei using the Terminal Emulator App.

Firstly, you need to download terminal emulator on your android device.

How to Change IMEI Number with Terminal Emulator of Android Phone-Tab

For Single Sim Device

1. Your phone must be a Rooted Device

2. Download Terminal Emulator from Play Store3. Open Android Terminal Emulator
4. Type SU then press ENTER button to get Superuser permmison
3. After that, type this command then press ENTER buttonecho ‘AT+EGMR=1,7,”IMEI_NUMBER”‘ >/dev/pttycmd1
or echo AT+EGMR=1*7*IMEI_1 >/dev/pttycmd1 

For Dual Sim Phones
1. Rooted Android phone or tablet.
2. Install Android Terminal Emulator app
3. Open Android Terminal Emulator.
4. Type SU then press ENTER
5. Type the following command then Eneter echo ‘AT+EGMR=1,7, “IMEI_NUMBER” ‘ >/dev/pttycmd1
6. If your phone is dual-sim, typ this command then ENTER echo ‘AT+EGMR=1,10, “IMEI_NUMBER” ‘ >/dev/pttycmd1
7. Last step, reboot your phone/tablet and done. 

Finally, The above steps are 100% tested and working ways to successfully change your android imei.

Shortcut Master

This is a very short tutorial, I was able to tweak a friends Itel phone with this simple trick.

HOW TO TWEAK NON MTK IMEI

Note: B4 going further, make sure you have rooted your phone

==> Download Shortcut Master Here or Directly from Google Playstore 

= => Launch the app and tap on the screen to bring out the pull down menu

Shortcut Master

= => From the menu, select Secret Code Explorer
= => Select Engineering Mode, or look for numbers and under it, check for anything that contains “engineer” User2root Receiver and another menu will pop out. If it pops-out launch type, simply select Launch0.

= => From the menu that comes up, scroll to left side and select Set imei to bring up yet another menu where you will see and select launch to display the 2 default IMEI of your device.

= => If you can’t find the above and you could see Telephony, just scroll down and look out for SET-IMEI.

= => Then select any of the 2 default IMEI that you will like to change to your personal IMEI, delete it and input your IMEI (Blackberry or other IMEI

= => Finally tap on Set IMEI and Reboot your phone.  Your phone will reboot with your tweaked IMEI installed.

MP0B_001 Method 

1. Download ROM toolbox lite from Playstore 
2. Download IMEI.zip (to create a new IMEI file) then unzip the content of the folder (imei.exe) to a folder on your desktop 
3. In command prompt, navigate to the imei.exe containing folder you just created on your desktop
* NOTE cd\ then enter (returns to root directory)

cd foldername enter (navigates to a folder called foldername) 

4. A faster method is to open the imei.exe containing folder > Hold down Shift > Right-click on an empty space > Select "Open Command Window here"
5. When you're inside the imei folder in command prompt, type 
imei.exe <15digit_IMEI_1> <15digit_IMEI_2>

6. Press Enter          
7. If both IMEIs you gave are of the correct format, a file named MP0B_001_NEW will be created. Rename it MP0B_001.
8. Now you can send it to the sd of your phone 
9. Install ROM toolbox lite then go to root explorer
10. In root explorer, delete the existing MP0B_001 file (located @ device/data/nvram/md/NVRAM/NVD_IMEI) and replace with the one you just created 
11. Long press the new MP0B_001, go to permissions and tick all 9 boxes at the top then select ok (don't tick special pernissions)
12. Restart your phone
13. Your SIMs should be detected, IMEI reflect and Baseband version change from unknown to what it should be.
* Note that getting this done might not be this direct due to different scenarios but replacing the MP0B_001 file is the ultimate goal in order to fix the issue.

IMEI Replacement Method 

This method involves the use of MTK droid tools and is only applicable when your SIM cards are detected but IMEI is invalid or null. To do this:

1. Download MTK droid tools
2. Download PdaNet
3. Enable USB debugging on the phone then connect it to the PC (don't enable mass storage)
4. Install PdaNet on the PC with the phone connected; you should get a message saying drivers installed successfully.
5. Extract then launch MTK droid tools on the PC (still with phone connected to PC)
6. MTK droid tools should detect and display your phones details
7. Click on IMEI/NVRAM
8. Supply the IMEI(s) then click replace
9. Restart your phone if it isn't automatically restarted
10. Your IMEI issue should have been resolved
