One of my friends told me that he hates Infinix Phones because he heard that they are not easy to root but I tried to correct him on that.
You can’t tell me that you hate Samsung, Sony, HTC and LG phones because they are not easy to root.
The reason is that those devices are soo much protected that it can only take a stronger application to manipulate those phones.
This same thing is also applicable to Infinix phones.

MUST I ROOT MY PHONE?
I believe that someone who asks this question doesn’t really know what rooting is all about.

Sometimes if one fails to follow the steps of rooting ones phone accordingly, the phone might suffer break down which is known as bricking.

HOW TO ROOT INFINIX ZERO 2 AND HOTNOTE PRO WITHOUT PC
Note: this tips has been confirmed working on all Infinix Phones.
1=> firstly, Permit your phone to allow installations of unknown sources applications.
You can do this by Going to Setting => Security => and there you can tick the “Unknown sources” box.

=>2. Run and install KingRoot app on your device. Though its written in half Chinese Language but don’t worry, Is not too difficult to understand.
=>3. After it has been successfully installed, start the app and wait for KingRoot to fully analyze your device.
=>4. After a few seconds you will see the main window, the Chinese language
=>5. Click on the Big Green Circle on your device that says Root and wait for a few minutes (Your phone must be connected to the internet).

=>6. After a few minutes, you should see a tick mark in a green circle and the blue horizontal bar below the green circle, which means that your device has been successfully rooted! with the help of KingRoot.
The KingUser app will be installed for SuperUser access.

=>7. Download Root Checker from Play Store to verify your root privileges. After downloading, simply Install Root Checker, run it and you should get a success message after then.

Steps to root Infinix Zero 2, hot note and other android 4.4 KitKat

Rooting Infinix devices with iRoot is very simple. First you will need to enable Developer Option on your device. To enable it, go to Settings >> About >> then tap on the Build number for like 7 times until it gives you a notification that ‘you are now a Developer’
==> Next step is to turn on USB Debugging Mode, it should be enabled on default but you can still check if it is. Go to Settings >> Developer >> Options and confirm that the USB Debugging is turn on.
==> Now go and Download PDANet and install it. You will probably get a notification that, if you like to install drivers or cancel, choose the install and select others.
Note: When you get an error during installing PDANet on your phone, connect your phone to your computer via a USB cord and everything will workout fine with some check marks.
==> At this point, pdnet will be installed successfully on your Infinix with a notification displayed on your computer.
==> Now go and download iRoot here with your computer or download with your phone and send it to your system, then install it.
==> Now launch the iRoot app from your system, if your phone is still connected to your computer, the iRoot software should detect your phone and display it on it’s interface.
==> Click on Root and wait while your phone undergo the process of rooting. Shortly, it will reboot and you should see a notification that ‘android is upgrading’ then after some time, it will display from iRoot interface that Infinix Hot X507 root success.
==> Now click on complete and select check root access via the iRoot software and you will see a notification that Infinix X507 has root permission. congratulations, your phone is now rooted but if you want to confirm it, then check your phone menu to see if Super User and Super Cleaner app is automatically installed. Or search for Root Check App on Google Play Store, download and install it on your phone to check if your Infinix Phone has rooted.
